I love this woman! I love her story, her relationships, her internal battles, her struggles, her everything 🄰 After reading the first book and this one, I can’t wait to read the third one 🤩 P.S. I loved the ā€œNote from the authorā€ info!! So cool! I’ve never seen this type info shared before. I hope to more šŸ˜

Jaw dropping

When I read the first book. It wasn't what I had expected. I had to continue to series! Very good read.

I want to start off saying that this is not one of those books you put off. You must buy it and read it right away. (*You need to read The Girl in 6E first. This is a chronological series.) I am not one to read books in a series back-to-back. I tend to get bored. I need a break in-between books of the same series. This series is so much different than other series. I was more than enthralled with both books!

This one picks up where the last one left off... We have Deanna and Jeremy. However, now they have met face to face. They both are itching to have more encounters with one another. Deanna is doing her best to go back to business as usual, while Jeremy is trying so hard to get her back out of her apartment.

Business as usual... Not really. Deanna has tasted blood again. She has reintroduced herself to the world. She wants more... of all of it... But she mustn't. She must go back to her daily routine. But temptation is hard to resist.

Camming is a world of its own. Deanna comes in "contact" with so many different walks of life. She has learned to read them. She knows how to handle the crazies. Or does she?

Marcus. Psychopath. Obsessed with tracking down the one woman who has turned him down and make her pay.... by any means necessary.

This book is a cat and mouse game with all of the characters from Deanna to Jeremy to Marcus to her therapists to her hacker/friend.... It's all a tangled web that is threatening to untangle.

I don't think I can give this piece of genius enough praise. It is in a league of it's own. I am just hoping that I will get more of the twisted world of Deanna Madden. I crave more of her demented and heart-pounding story. I want more blood. I want more, period!

For the first 35% I was a little bored and then it picked up so at first I didn't want to read the part with Mike and then I didn't want to put it down. The bit with Marcus was exciting and then Jeremy, but I actually think she should have killed him. The fact he survived and had minor injuries after the explosion was a bit far fetched and the final sex scene was a let down. For some reason I wanted her to go after Mike but end up falling for him lol. Will finish off the series.

The first book of the series is a solid read. This one on the other hand is not that good. There are too many sex scenes that dont have a purpose. The first book needed it to explain the cam girl situation, it gave examples as to what this career is about and what it requires. Here it is used to make up for the weak plot. I wont be reading the next book in the series!

I absolutely loved the first book in this series because it was so different.
But because I had read that book this book wasn't so different if that makes sense.
So although I still enjoyed it well enough I was no longer wowed by it.
