The thriller part was a lot of fun but not enough of the book. I get that this is “erotic thriller” but honestly there’s too much cam girl stuff, it takes away from the story and gets boring. I read my fair share of smut so I’m not a smut hater, it’s just genuinely overdone here. Now if we had some spiciness between Deanna and Jeremy that would be a different story but unfortunately it takes the entire book for us to get there.
Eager for book 3 but grateful book 2 leaves you in a good place

This book was really awesome! Bad ass if I may add. This series seriously puts me back on my reading speed! Love every damn minute I spent reading this book. It was so gripping and thrilling.
Full honesty, this book really had me excited! Following Deanna's story as she faced a much more deprived and evil opponent on this book. The only problem I encountered was I want more gore and violence, and that's myself to blame for reading too much extreme horror and splatterpunk books! Lol! I forgot that this is a tame thriller. I want Deanna go berserk while reading..
Less gore and violence, but I truly enjoyed this story, probably more than the first book. I am glad to have finally read this and yeah, I am excited to dive in and start on the third book. Gosh, can't believe I am on the last one!

You like thrillers with suspense & hot kinky sex? This is the book for you!
We continue where we left off from book#1- "The Girl in 6E" with Deanna trying to have start at being outside the walls of her apartment to explore what the "normal" world is. Jeremy is along for the adventure with her.
Oh Jeremy... if you thought you liked him before, well shoot, your going to really fall in love with him this book! He has patience of a "saint" literally to be around Deanna. He takes whatever she is willing to give him with her words and actions. Some of Deanna's actions are questionable to Jeremy but he let's his heart capture the beauty he sees in Deanna.
I love the characters were developed in this book. Deanna is one smart, strong heroine and Jeremy is the charming, loving man that Deanna needs in her life. We meet Marcus who is one fucked up man & we learn why.
This book had plenty of twists and plots that had me biting my nails off. No way is this book predictable! You think you may know but your sooo wrong!
A very good combo of sex, mystery, suspense, a villain that you love to hate & blood...
Different POV's from the main characters are how the story comes together. I love how Alessandra gets us so entrapped into the characters heads that it makes you believe you are them. And then begins the mind fuck while reading! I love it!
Deanna's journey to find herself started off well ... for awhile but you will have to read this book to find out if all went according to what she thought it would be.
I am soooo looking forward to Book#3 If You Dare
I have my theories on how will it go but then with Alessandra's stories, your theories are never what you think they will be!

The writing for these books is always easy flowing and fast paced. The writing always draws you in.
The characters are good and complex as the previous book. You get a lot more character insight in this book. Most of this book felt like character building and development with the murderous thrilling bits in the background.
The story, in my own opinion, isn't as good as the previous book. It's still interesting and thrilling but it took until a little over half way for things to get heated up. Its just a bit slower. The ending was good but not what I expected. Action packed and enjoyable though.
All in all its a really good book and a good addition to the series. This book is character driven more than it is plot driven. I personally liked book one just a little bit more. I'm looking forward to moving on to book three soon. I'm hoping book three has more mystery and more thrilling aspects.
There was more sexual content in this book than I cared for. I read for the murderous urges, mystery, and the kick butt and terrifying female character. Deanna is why I read these books. Don't get me wrong I do like the sexual scenes but it just seemed like there was more than necessary in this book. As if it was trying to cover up a lack of plot.
But i still love this series and I'm looking forward to the next installment.
