I was ON BOARD with the relationship that sparked at the end of the first book and that was a big reason for me to continue on with the series
And it didn't let me down, I loved Jeremy
And the addition of mike was a great touch, I really liked him and he raised the emotional stakes I had in this book
I loved him and deanna's dynamic together, him and Jeremy were the highlights of this book
The bad guy was also more intriguing in this book and he was so sick and twisted, I loved it
This book was a huge upgrade from the first book
I'm glad I continued with this series

I like this one better. It has more emotional range and stuff.
So, thoughts. Jeremy is a simp. I really dislike him and feel he has no place in the story. His existence is so off-putting.
I like Mike, and I like Derek as well. I hope book 3 is more focused on Derek and like this one is a little more focused on Mike.
Plot-wise, this is also slightly better than the first one. I guess the villain isn't really complex or whatever, but it's not another paedophile story so there's that.

This was good. In this one, she rescued her bf and get to kill the Marcus renza who’s wanted to m@im her and then r!pe her, but instead she reverse uno and ends up killing and torturing him.
But I didn’t like this;
“Indian accent so strong I can barely understand her. ”
Just say I’m racist and move on because since when is Indian accent difficult to understand?

Thank you, thank you, thank you Mr Torre. You know why. You were right on both counts.
I think I deserve my own pat on the back for extreme patience whilst being tempted. I love Alessandra so much that I feel the need for a tangible paperback. I pre ordered and waited. Ebook released...I waited. Paperback out in the US, I waited. 2nd August yippee- how good was I?
When it was announced that there would be a sequel to the Girl in 6E, I couldn't imagine how it would work. Deanna found an evil excuse for a human being. Saved a child. Sated her desire. In my head the only thing a sequel could do would be to repeat the plot.
Note to self, this is why Alessandra is an amazing author.
There is no repetition. This is all new. This is shocking. Do Not Disturb had me shout NO in a public place.
New character - Marcus Renza. Mysoginist. Rapist. Obsessive deluded little man. I was scared of him. His evil knows no bounds. My heart beat racing as I realised where the plot was going.
And Jeremy. Lovely, lovely Jeremy - Justice Joslin in my imagination.
Run!
Mike, cool techno nerd. Whelp!
Run!
Deanna - you are badass. You are amazing. The hunter becomes the hunted.
Run!
Astoundingly well written. Great plot. Moments of WTF. Moments of oooooooohhhhhhh! Floved it.

It could’ve been more suspenseful when it came closer to the end. It was built up well but I just wish she took it further. It’s still a good book. It is the weaker one of the series but still a good read. It’s only one element in this book that will seem confusing in book 3 if you read it before this one, as I did.

3.25-3.5 it was okay but idk if a second book was needed
This is the second book in the Deanna Madden series and I'm no longer a fan. Also, you really need to read the first book in order to fully understand what is going on (just the basic premise) for this book. While I really enjoyed the first book, this one barely had a story until the last 30 or 40% of the book.
