3.9 AVERAGE

3.5 stars

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one. I don't know if I will be continuing the series.

3.75 star.

Like the author I believe I enjoyed this one more than the first. Deanna is very gritty and sometimes I forget, even with her constant reminder of wanting to kill people, that she is so unpredictably dangerous.

It was definitely difficult to be in the mindset of Marcus. But even so I appreciate the insight. He was really disturbing in his thinking and the actions taken on his victims.

This is just a very unique tale. I like all the aspects of it. How she has secluded herself and is trying to figure out what normalcy is. I also like her boyfriend but is it just me or does anyone else want her to bump into her psychiatrist? She is such a cute little kitten who when provoked turns into a wildcat and tears your face off. Definitely doesn't take any lip. I like how someone of her stature and profession is in control.

Interested in where Deanne will go from here. I'm not certain she can pull of a normal life. She does knows right and wrong..... somtimes.

Not as great as the first book but still very enjoyable. I just love Deanna as a character and it's such a different and original idea for a thriller series. I felt the ending was a bit rushed which was a bit of a disappointment, there was so much build up and it was over way too quickly. Can't wait to read the next one though!

I fucking love these books! I recommend this whole series to everyone!

๏  My Thoughts ๏

I didn't like this quite as much as the first book but it was still a solid follow-up to The Girl in 6E.  Do Not Disturb has stepped up the romance a bit, between Deanna and the UPS guy, Jeremy.  Also, we get to know the elusive hacker, Mike, somewhat.  There is a new dilemma with a customer of Deanna's who just got out of jail for Rape and is hell-bent on meeting up her, despite telling him repeatedly that she doesn't do that sort of thing.  Things escalate quickly, and she has to deal with the consequences of that.  All of this is going on while Deanna tries to deal with her need to kill, plus her newfound need to escape her apartment.

The ending was definitely missing something for me, things tied up a little too quickly and I still wish this had a male narrator for the male parts of the book...but honestly, Jorjeana Marie does do a stellar job as the voice of Deanna Madden.

A pretty good sequel, but the murderous thoughts seemed a bit over the top and exaggerated in this book, compared to the first.

Not quite as thrilling as the first book, though the plot developed in a very similar way. Infinite love for Jeremy and it was good to get to know Mike more in this book too. I've heard (and from what I can tell from the ending) that the next book follows a different plot pattern so will definitely be picking it up at some stage. These books are pretty messed up and I love it.

***3.5 STARS*** Gripping and fast paced! Kept my attention hooked and I enjoy the character dynamics! Very sex orientated however I found that it was refreshing how crude and upfront the writer is about it!
