Great plot and well written in the view of an account by a survivor of a martian invasion. One particular section midway through the book was tense and drew me on more and more in a deep curiousity. The lore behind the martian race and the difference between them and mankind interested me greatly.

Interesting to finally get around to this classic. I can see where many sci-fi story’s got their inspiration. I enjoyed it but wasn’t completely gripped, worth a read if you’re a sci-fi fan though!
