Interesting to finally get around to this classic. I can see where many sci-fi story’s got their inspiration. I enjoyed it but wasn’t completely gripped, worth a read if you’re a sci-fi fan though!

Reading this was like listening to Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds only that had a beautiful full musical score and great songs and epic sound effects.
