A professor manipulating a vulnerable student into dating his brother is not a meet cute. It's sexual harassment at a minimum and I just don't know if I'll be ever able to read anything by this author again.

This would have been such a cute love story if not for the totally unnecessary plot line of the death of Willa’s mother. I hate it when someone dies in romance books.
It was such a slow burn amazingness and the author had to mess it up.
I’m reading the next book tomorrow to see if I like the author’s work without a bad trope.

i did not enjoy this book at all. i'm not saying that it's bad, but it's most definitely not for me. i didn't feel the chemistry between the characters, willa felt like a bitch 90% of the time, the time jumps didn't work me, and a lot of important moments felt rushed or skipped over.

i wanted to love this book, but man was it a disappointment
