This manga is getting better and better by each volume. There is a good amount of suspense and intrigue in this volume with a lot of unexpected twists which leads to more unanswered questions. The art style of the manga has improved a lot and I cannot wait to read the next volume soon enough. It's so addictive.

Now I'm back in the swing of reading this series I'm loving these volumes as they continue to drop amazing artwork with superior storytelling.

This volume elaborates on the Beast Titan which can be seen on the cover of this volume and while we don't learn who the Beast Titan is, we learn some other valuable information of what it can do which only prompts further questions. As exciting as it is frustrating!

I liked the character Mike who across a few panels showed some real courage, even interacting with the Beast Titan before meeting a gruesome end. Despite the fact he only came across a few panels as a main character I liked him so it's a shame he went so quickly but this is also a testament to how dangerous the world of AoT is.

There was a back story for Sasha which was cool as I got to see where she has come from and what happened to her before the present day. I like back stories like this as it can really help develop characters that aren't necessarily the main character (Eren).

I think the tension in this volume was maintained from the previous one and even increased since there are titans moving around past sunset (which they don't normally do) and of course the Beast Titan has appeared with his unique powers.

Really looking forward to seeing where this goes, even though I've seen the majority of the anime, I can't remember the second half of it.

While some recruits were stationing at Utgard Castle to get some rest after trying (unsuccessfully) to find the breach in the wall, Reiner finds out that Ymir can read some strange letters from a can. (That is also the moment he realizes that Ymir is from outside the walls, and she also stated that inside the can there was herring, which is a sea water fish, and people from inside the walls don't live next to the sea. She is also aware that she gave herself away, but there was no time for conclusions from both parts, because titans invaded the castle.)
