Wow wow wow. A masterpiece. I have never read a book that perfectly captures how it feels to meet your first real love and fear you might not get that much time with them. Beautifully written and touches on grief and responsibility as well as a touching sister relationship.

This book is so good - I loved every second of it. Such a great book to devour and while you can’t stop reading it, you’re already thinking about how much you’ll miss reading it when it’s over. An ode to books and love stories!

I truly believe Emily Henry is my soulmate author. I also believe that she writes books specifically for me. I also believe she writes characters that will become comfort characters for me, and that she writes slow burn romances just for me. Basically, I adore this woman and I am a whore for her plot lines and characters. Something about her books is just exactly what I need, at the exact right time. Book Lovers is now up there with Beach Read as my favorite book ever, or, shockingly, somehow, above it, which is insane considering Beach Read is based on a town I frequent and adore. This book made me absolutely weep, and I don’t even know why! All I know is that I have a headache from how hard I cried, and that I absolutely fucking loved Nora and Charlie and Libby, and that I absolutely love Emily Henry and am already waiting not so patiently for her next novel. Thank you for writing this Emily, for all of us book lovers♥️

This was the first book by Emily Henry I read, because I could no longer escape her, but I think her books might not be for me.
There was just way too much going on with the characters. The main character desperately needs therapy and not a man. A man is not going to solve your trauma. No, no, no!
I mean, it could have been worse, but I rolled my eyes more than once.
