I laughed. I cried. I laughed until I cried. Honestly loved this book. It was charming, clever, and heartwarming.

5 Stars - I would absolutely recommend. :)

I had never heard of Dan Geminhart before so I was a bit unsure But this book was amazing! I can only imagine living on the road all the time and not ever going back to the place that you loved and where your loved ones lay!

What a beautiful book for middle elementary readers about love, friendship and life. Coyote and Salvador are such likable characters.

WOW! I'm not crying, you're crying! What a journey, what a ride! Coyote and her dad (don't call him that!) have been traveling around the USA in an old school bus that they have made into their home since Coyote's mom and 2 sisters were killed in a car crash 5 years ago. It's noon on Saturday when Coyote discovers that they MUST travel home by 8 AM on Wednesday. Home is in Washington state and they are in Florida.... and Coyote can't tell her dad why they have to get there.

The opportunities for discussion about friendship and family abound. This is an excellent book that I could not put down!
