see it was just so good that i want to keep my thoughts to myself thanks
Fell in love with this vampire and he cannot be replaced. Great story, rich exciting details. Doesn't get any better.
I liked this much better than the first part. He is still sometimes weird when it comes to his mother but the book itself is very intriguing.

Every book I read from her starts with the same very slooow pace and a lot of descriptions. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it just puts me to sleep, literally. However, usually after the first half everything gets insanely good the pace picks up, and the plot gets really interesting. The last 100 pages were breathtaking. For me, the same thing happened reading Interview, Vampire Armand, Vittorio and Merrick.

I enjoyed some characters and ideas within the book but her writing style did not hook me in enough to continue reading.
4.5
This book was incredible. I loved getting to know the story of the Vampire Lestat and how complex he is, the only bit that was slow for me was Marius’ story but it was essential and still pretty cool to know. I am obsessed with Lestat
