wow. I don't know if this is monstress-level "I read this unfinished comic for a reading challenge not knowing what to expect and was absolutely blown away" but it's CLOSE. I'm hooked by the concept, the characters, and the gorgeous art. can't wait for more!

I was not expecting this book to be this good. Came into knowing nothing except I like the authors, and wow! What a read. I was a little confused at first trying to differentiate between some of the characters designs, but then the key in the back helped. I will definitely be tuning in for vol. 2!

I think this story is interesting so far, but as many of these end-of-the-world-except-a-small-group-survives story goes, it will either end with something new and fresh or something that fell flat on its face.
Stunning horror story with phenomenal art. Manages to execute a whole bunch of incredibly difficult concepts in a way that only the medium of comics can. Clear influences from John Carpenter and the the Twilight Zone, mixed with just the right amount of adult drama.
Will be acquiring the TPB so I can have this on my shelf, cannot wait for the next run.
