the potential was there, but like the whole brother/incest-not incest plot ruined the whole series for me

Whew. Where do I start with this book. It was ok? It didn’t suck. Having most of the chapters from Auden’s POV wasn’t as annoying as I feared it’d be. It was nice to see character growth. Another reviewer, picked up on something that’s been nagging me since book 1, which was that the romantic pairings in the series is off. The reviews suggested Becket/Saint- which makes sense because you get all the tension, angst, and “forbidden love” etc. Then Auden/Rebecca/Poe. Two bestie Doms “warring over the perfect sub.” I couldn’t have written it better myself. That was was the romantic pairings we deserved. Not this, this unnecessary, abhorrent incest plot line. I do like Delphine though, I think she’s cute, but yeah. Her character often felt like a checklist, she never quite justified her reason for existence. I’ll say again that I find it hard to believe that Rebecca, knowing what we know about her, would really find long term love with someone like Delphine but they say opposites attract

4 books for THIS? I enjoyed most of the series, though I could see its flaws...but THIS is the final book?

Okay. Spoilers & a rant ahead.
