This definitely helped fill in some blanks that I felt like I had when I was reading the fifth book. So that's awesome. It also has some fun info in it about all of the characters and who they are to the story.
I now know all about the characters so it makes the books more interesting.
I liked all the background info and short stories about the characters.
This was very informative. It helped me remember the things I forgot and also helped me understand the society of the Blue Bloods. I lived how she put in different stories to explain why the charters were that way and also answering some of the questions I had about the series. It was definitely enjoyable to read.
All I can say is MISGUIDED ANGEL better get her soon. In many ways this reference book is kind of dry: stories of all the families and characters from the other books, histories of the vampires...all are told in a very dry fashion. But it's supposed to be reference material, compiled, censored, and stored by the librarians.
The treats are hidden chapters. For each of the four previous books, there was a hidden chapter...I only discovered them with the last book. They're all here...so we learn more about Schuyler, Dylan, Jack, and Kingsley. We also get sneak-peeks of the new book. AND the first chapter in a new series starring the now-human Bliss in her search for the wolves. So, the price is worth it for all those pieces.
I've marked several pages that I'm predicting will be important in the next book, for which I am waiting IMPATIENTLY!
Fun to read. I'm eager to share.

Keys to the Repository was quite a fun read. it provides all the information about the Blue Bloods, its history, as well as records on the Van Alen, Force and Llewellyn families, some additional stories and my favourite, the dictionary of terms. Perfect and highly recommended for a Blue Bloods fan.
This companion to the series is really more like a summary of the series so far. With a few (and far in between) exceptions the book was mostly boring. One point did annoy me. The setup of the book is that we are reading files from the Repository. Files that hold details from all of the lives the characters have had lived in the past, this is Schyluer's first life so...why does everything revolve around her? And really, the scribes who wrote the files? Are really, really nosy. And huge gossips.
A companion book to the Blue Bloods series, this book fills in some of the details using letters and other documents from the Repository - a library of all of the Vampire records. It tells the history of some of the characters and fills in details from earlier books. A must read for those who like the Blue Bloods books!
This is the best book in the entire series. It explains nearly every question I've ever been confused about throughout the books. I'm really pleased that Cruz put this book out, BUT unfortunately it doesn't make up for her lack of detail in the other novels. She even used it to clear up inconsistencies in spellings of names and other plot points from the first book.
I don't understand why, if she has all of these details put together in her head, she doesn't explain them clearly enough in the actual novels. I wish I could put better into words what I mean, but it just bothers me even more now that the books aren't really well written.
I'll keep reading the series though.
