Good follow up to Slammed. We continue to follow Lake and Will's relationship as both they and their relationship grow. Layken and her brother Kel are forced to deal with tragedy once again while Will and his brother Caulder help them through it.

I breezed through this book and again enjoyed the poetry contained within. It is obvious to me that Colleen Hoover has a talent in not only writing prose but poetry. I loved how Lake and Will struggle to keep a promise to Julia, Lake's mother, and continue to reach the "point of retreat" yet continue to push boundaries.

Was very happy that Slammed was not over since I wanted more of Will and Lake! I loved the fact that this book was written from Wills point of view! Just as emotional and intense as the first book maybe even more so; but just as amazing as Slammed. Loved all the slammed poetry in this one especially Kierstens about bullying! Another favorite for me!

Couldn’t get enough of the story of Lake and Will. Their love is captivating, and I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t put the book down. I loved all the characters, and the depth of the plot. Great ending to their story.
