I liked this book better then Slammed for sure. I loved that it was Will's POV but a new part to the story. Will and Lakes story continued instead of retold.

I hate hate that they have both lost their parents and are taking care of their little brothers. But at the same time that bonds them and makes them so much stronger.

Once again there were parts that I liked! parts that I love and parts that were hilarious. Once again will makes an epic mistake. Come on Vaughn May have hurt you but she is scorned because you got over her. You know you should have told Lake that she was in your class. She would have probably not liked it but it wasn't your fault until you neglected to tell her. That made you look so guilty. How was she to know there weren't other things you were hiding?

Over one bad situation unto a could have been devastating situation. Thankfully it turned out the way it did. Will and lake are well on their way to a HEA.

Kiersten and her mom, loved them. And Grandpaul and his whole twitter, hilarious.

Please tell me this is part of a buttetflying trilogy! ;) but really...

As a follow up to Slammed, this book was disappointing. Will’s behavior didn’t feel true to his character. Other characters such as Vaughn and Reece were completely pointless. And the use of random words such as “butterflying” and point of retreat was annoying.

This wasn't the fluff romance novel I thought it would be, it had a great story. It was the perfect follow up to Slammed. It actually had me a little teary-eyed towards the end but it came back with a great ending. I recommend this one and hope the author writes more about Lake and Will.

“My heart pounds against my chest. Not because I'm nervous. Not even because I want her worse that I've ever wanted her before. It's pounding against my chest because I realize I've never been so sure about the rest of my life than I am in this moment. This girl is the rest of my life.”
