I enjoyed this, but not as much as the first one. Once it picked up, I really got into it! I’m excited to see what the third book will bring.

Loved this one, particularly the slams this time around. I teared up for just about all of them, Will's to Lake, Kiersten's to the bullies, and Caulder's to Will. I did want to smack the taste out of Lake's mouth a few times, when she refused to even let Will try to explain what happened. She had right to be ticked, but she took it way overboard. But all in all, excellent book!
I started this minutes after finishing Slammed and not even reading the synopsis, I just wanted more of their story. I needed someone to pinch me when I realized it was from Will's POV! Oh yeah!
Point of Retreat is the perfect follow up to Slammed. It evokes the same emotions, the same heart wrenching decisions, the same smiles and the same Butterflyingly awesome Slam poetry!
I usually mark my favorite quotes/sections of books to add in my review to make a point but there is no need with this book. Colleen Hoover writes this story with such beauty and elegance I didn't have time to stop and mark anything. Plus, I feel I couldn't do the book justice by including them here. You just have to read the books.
Once again Colleen Hoover handles difficult topics with finesse and doesn't gloss over them or beat you over the head with them. They are there for a reason, an important reason and the delivery is flawless. You just get it.
I said it before in my Slammed review; when a book in a genre outside my comfort zone draws me in this quick and this complete I will get on a soap box, do a jig and even be the sacrifice if I have to.
Thank you Ms. Hoover for writing a story that knocked my butterflying socks off.

Los desgraciados poemas son los que hacen a estos libros, porque en general, fue muy predecible.
3⭐️ I was going to give this book only 2 stars because the beginning was so obvious and immature. I was waiting for Lake & Will to finally have their weekend getaway but knew something dramatic would happen which would postpone it til the end of the book. AND the thing that actually broke them apart was so incredibly dumb. I was like are you kidding me?? But then there was a random twist that happened and the rest of the book did end up being good. So I wouldn’t recommend this book but it was okay.
Oh, this guy! I wish there were more Will's out there.
I loved that the story continues where Slammed ends although it is entirely from Will's POV.

Second book in the series. Loved it as much as the first. Romance story that covers love and friendship. I would have loved more development on Sherry, but I know there’s a third.
