Priest and Bea, when opposites attract!

Priest is our darkest hero so far due to his past, which we don't find out about until the back end of the book.

I love him and Bea together ❤️

This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster once again!!

Priest and Bea's story was truly captivating. They have longed and loved from afar, each keeping their distance. Priest finally relents and gives into the feelings that he has never felt before. As Bea breaks down his resistance there is darker men waiting in the shadows trying to come between this couple.
This story was filled with anger and revenge but it was also filled with love, hope and passion.

Fallen Man or Fallen Angel?

I knew Priest had a mother fluffing story that could not be completely unveiled without something strong and preferably alcoholic. And then Giana Darling tells us in Priest's own way. It's brutal, poignant, and absolutely appalling. I contemplated avenging him in the goriest of ways.

Everyone who reads this book will see a broken man. Everyone will see the optimistic angelic girl in love with the shadow of a man. That's on us, King makes a fantastic point, we view others through our lenses.

So let me tell you...
1. Priest is a scary ....dude.
2. He is 110% loyal.
3. His dark is a light for Bea. Yes, you read that right.


It's probably very Disney of me to believe everyone has their "person" but it can be a brutal truth. Everyone thinks they know Bea. Only one "person" tries to see past the pink and angelic hair- he just happens to be most peoples definition of a monster.
