I thought it was a lovely book. However there was a lot of focus on the characters flaws and I couldn’t really feeel the chemistry between the main characters however I did understand why they would be together.

I came to relate to both characters in different ways

I feel like the steamy scenes weren’t really needed, I can see why it might turn some people off

Logan and Pierre hook up randomly one night after Logan wrecks into his car. While starting a tv show series, Pierre unknowingly gains Logan as an assistant. Romantically and professionally, they get to know more about one another. They are open to seeing where things go…

Learning that they both have trauma stemming from pleasing their parents. Logan’s parents wanting her to be a lawyer to carry out the family legacy. Also, they preferred her to marry someone with a title and money. Pierre’s mother is dead but he still tries to please her. His father was “famous” but led him down the wrong path-alcoholism.

Sienna, Pierre’s “friend” from “back in the day.” She’s invited by him to help with the show. Logan finds out who she really is which caused tension. Later, she’s dismissed from the job for causing chaos. Anthony, a co-worker of theirs, is crushing on Logan. Pierre becomes jealous. After expressing how Sienna and Anthony make them feel; they realize their feelings are deeper. Yet, still not officially together.

A series of events causes them to want to make things work. Will love be enough to keep them together? Or…will things come crashing down? I definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read more of her work.

Christina C. Jones has yet to fail me. She basically said, "Forget a meet cute. We need a meet sexy!" I enjoyed Logan and Pierre and although I'm not a big fan of a story within story, but this was written in a manner that the side story was a minimal, but integral part of the story.
