I think this just became my favourite book of the series. It just went so smoothly and fast. Plus I loved Harry and Ginny in this - we were absolutely ROBBED in the movies. (Lavender Brown isn’t bad at all by the way, she’s just a girl with a crush). I especially loved learning more about Voldemort’s past. Tom Riddle is actually such a fascinating character…crazy, who would have thought. That teenager had a goal and he went for it (I am aware it is overtaking the world and mass murder but still, gotta give credit where it’s due.)
Harry’s obsession with Malfoy has to be studied though. Why on earth would you randomly follow someone because they so happen to be alone in the street and not with their mother ? I know I wouldn’t have been the main character in any story. I am not interested enough in what other people are doing - especially not someone I loathe.
Despite my differences with Dumbledore, his death was still sad.
The ending was very satisfying (not in the sense that I am happy Dumbledore died, but more that the pace and structure of the events was in my opinion well executed.) I am eager to read the last book!
P.S: Snape can go fuck himself still.
