I had a hunch of where it was going, but I enjoyed it a lot nonetheless.
It was fun to read about writing and the world of novelists and publishers. I saw the twists a bit ahead of time, but it was fun to take the ride along what felt like a winding mountain road. And I think it's fair to call it a page-turner. Yet. . . by the end I was really ready to end my relationship with these characters, sort of happy to be done with them. And then I read the preview of the sequel, and was instantly hooked again.

Would have given it 3.5 stars if that was an option. This was a fast and entertaining read, but I thought the beginning was stronger than the end. And a little too early on, I could see the ending coming.
