The second person pov was used so well! I often find second person tedious and kinda weird but this was great!

this whole series is absolutely brilliant. no idea how the author managed to plan all of THIS but consider me impressed.
i saw someone descrive this book as “an acid trip written in second person” and i can’t help but agree, loved it.

I still am untangling so much of what happened. What a ride. Plan to reread because there are so many details that you are bombarded with that would have answers, but only if you knew which questions to ask.

This book….
The narrative tense, the character names, the absolute chaos and intentional confusion aimed at the reader. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read before. And I absolutely loved it.

And that ending! I’m so excited and yet still so lost at the same time. I have loved this series so far. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read. It is plot driven to a fault and with so much mystery around even our main character. It questioned everything I thought I already knew and expected to learn in a sequel novel. I cannot wait for Nona and Alecto. Easily jumped to one of my favorite series, but really who knows why. Enter at your own risk and prepare to be utterly at a loss.

As a side note. While I absolutely love Moira Quirk as the narrator of this series, I think this is one of those books that may be better read than listened simply to keep your mind from wandering as you read! But I enjoyed the audiobook none the less!
