It's been a while since a book hadn't touch me like this. Harrow the Ninth is gripping and quite confusing (like everything written by Muir) but is, at last, a cry of grief for the lost and loved ones. This book has became my comfort blanket in the saddest and most twisted way possible. I love it.
Moderate: Body horror, Death, Violence, and Blood

Highlights are the Shakespearian insults, the maddening confusion (and need to know if my theory was right), the casual queer representation, and the way the author left the reader to fill the gaps. I’ll be thinking about this one for a looong time
Lowlights are the cliff-hanger but that’s what preordering the sequel is for
