I couldn't keep reading it, had to stop.

It kept boring me.

This was pretty good but not the best vampire book out there. I mean it's better than Twilight that's for sure. I do like how humans are living in a very old town that is being controlled by vampires but the book was a little predictable after getting to know the characters. The author used the myth that a cold chil means a ghost just went through you so I already guessed that Michael was a ghost, I just didn't understand how he became one and why he still had human sensations. Other than that it was good. I do plan on reading the second book of the series but I won't get my hopes or place such high expectations.

It's a fun book, I don't like Shane's character (he's gross), but it's good if I don't want to think for a bit.

It's ridiculous how much I enjoyed reading this book. Yes it makes no sense and yes it's super unrealistic and yet... it was so fun to read!

I was told about these book so went and bought 1st three in the series. Yeah, not the best written, but neither is Twilight in all honesty! I couldn't put it down! I love the mix of characters and secrets they have.

Kind of slow. More about being bullied than romance. Love interest wasn’t very interesting.

I liked this book alot. Lately, I have been reading about vampires that are integrated into society and are co-existing with humans without evil intentions. Or for the most part. It was nice to go back to the vampire world, where they are not your friends, and they want nothing more than to suck your blood. I like the Morganville Vampires first book. It was an easy mindless read. And I enjoyed the authors ability to write from Claire's 16 year old perspective. Her detail to the sizzling attraction between Shane and Claire. It reminded me of my first crush. My first kiss. My first boyfriend. She really made that relationship grow. The character of Monica I find a bit unrealistic and almost unbearable, but I guess if I am allowing myself to believe in a Morganville, I have to allow myself to believe in even meaner bullies that what I know.
