This was an amazing story that I could not put down. Another entertaining book from Jessie Cal. I loved Giselle and Steven and the romance they shared. They first meet when they're young, but when her mother dies, her father moves them to New York, hence why they're ripped apart. But then fifteen years later, when 9/11 happens, Giselle now a surgeon finds Steven on her operating table. Not only does she save his life, but she steals his heart. They rekindle their feelings for each other and together they are so adorable. I wish this was made into a movie. And boy, the ending blew me away! I did not see that coming. This author sure likes plot twists. Brilliantly done. It's one of those stories that you don't want to stop reading and the characters are ones that you wish you really knew. Jessie Cal is one of my favorites authors, always a must-read. Bravo!
