The definition of wrong timing.

I don’t even really know how to write this review. This story was an emotional roller coaster ride of angst, longing, love, and bad timing.
The push and pull between B and Jaime was crazy. Every time one would be ready, the other would not. There was never the right time, and they suffered so much because of it.
It was a frustrating read that kept pulling me back again and again. I hated B so much, but at the same time, I couldn’t help but root for her. She was flawed and broken, and made stupid and sometimes cruel decisions. But I wanted to see her get a happily ever after.
Jaime was frustrating too. But he was also incredibly patient; far more patient than I would’ve been. But a lot of the bad and heartbreaking things that happened between them would’ve been solved with just a bit of communication. An actual sit down between them at the beginning instead of the assumptions that they both had.
Overall, this was a story with very few bright spots. But I enjoyed the painful ride.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the ending!! I only gave it 3 stars due to it being such a slow read (in my opinion) but overall great!!

2.5 stars. How many times can two people explain how horribly toxic are they to each other over 12 years? And then they just end up married? Okay sis

B and Jamie's love story is definitely a roller coster. The love and heartbreak they go through are real, which makes me love them even more. This book is fantastic, and their ending was better than whiskey.

I love love angst and the whiskey metaphors were the most poetic things I’ve ever read. This doesn’t get 5 stars only because I HATE cheating

I’m such a slut for angst and mutual pining. It’s like a new moon fanfic but less embarrassing to read in 2022. LOVE the heavy handed addiction metaphors, I was raised on Ao3 and it scratches an itch. 4.75/5, almost 5 but I deducted a quarter point for having no gay stuff

If I knew this bitch in real life I woulda stopped hanging out with her by like first semester freshmen year tho. Like it’s time to learn from our mistakes
