In the end, i didn't finish reading.
An entire book of Dear Sugar was just too much. I could handle this in snippets, but when I picked it back up, I could barely make it to the half way mark. I enjoy Cheryl Strayed as a writer - Wild is one of my few 5 Star books. But this one just didn't work for me as a whole.

I loved this book. I read it as slowly as I could, because I wanted it to go on as long as possible.

I listened to this on CD, which was a great way to experience it. So much of it is so intense. I don't know how it would have felt to sit down and read long sections at a time. Listening to a bit at a time was perfect.
One of the best most lovely, touching, profound, heartfelt books I have ever read. You will want to share it with everyone you love and that is the best kind of book in my opinion.
Hands down the best book I’ve ever read. I can see myself rereading this book over and over and over again. Strayed writes with her heart on the page and wraps her letters in a warm, and at many times heavy, hug. She’s the cool aunt every woman wishes she had, bestowing hard-earned wisdom exactly how it needs to be perceived. I am incredibly grateful for this book. Thank you, Cheryl.
I didn’t know anything about this book going in, and while I enjoyed reading Sugar’s responses and advice - it became a bit too repetitive for me all tied together into one book. I think this particular genre was just not for me.
meh. that generally sums up my opinion on cheryl strayed. This had some exceptionally good moments of great advice but sometimes it was just more of the same. Still I valued this.
There is something just so beautiful about exploring raw human emotions that just put everything into perspective.
I have never read any book in this format but i really enjoyed it and would like to explore more of her work.
