I needed something easy to read as the world has been a little dark and heavy lately. This was easy and entertaining. I didn't have high expectations as Christina Lauren's other earlier smut series was just okay. I was surprised. I can see the early start to this duo's ability to write chemistry and characters that readers love.
It didn't come without it's issues. There were problematic things sprinkled throughout the book that made me pause. But much better than some of the other smutty romances I've read. It is what is it. I will continue the series because I own it all and I have a weird goal to read everything Christina Lauren published.

This was an okay book. I liked the story but didn't like the person they picked for the narrator. I think I would have liked this story more if I had physically read the book.
