Strong characters and great spicy scenes, but most of this story felt like deja-vu. Hot people banging hot people against desks or in conference rooms, with a love/hate kink... It feels like this book rehashes the usual tropes without bringing anything new to the conversation.

Well this was unexpected. I really thought I was getting a typically Christina Lauren romance novel with a little spice thrown in for good measure. What I got was a lot of smut with a little romance thrown in for good measure. That being said, I’m not complaining

I read this book a while ago, but remember that I really enjoyed it. Loved the fast pace of this and the lust-to-love trope. It is also an exploration of power dynamics in the workplace and around money and status.
