AHHH I told myself that there was no way I could like this, because it's frankly all sex and he's bossy and demanding and mean and kept ripping her clothes, but honestly I forgot what it was like to be with someone for the first time with their body unbeknownst to you, and you trying to figure it out.
Of course, after the fifth sex scene after only 4 chapters (probably embellishing here but I'm really not that far off), you get a little bored, and I find there's not much of anything else besides that til towards the end. There's *slight* characterization of Chloe and Bennett, but again, this is not a book representing literary greatness (at least compared to the tenderness of her other novels). It's smutty romance, dirty and hungry. Rate it for what it is! It was fun, quick and it's another Christina Lauren book for my count.

I read positive recommendations for this book so I signed up for and won a copy in a Goodreads giveaway. I couldn’t even finish the first chapter. No consent, abuse of power over an employee in an internship …what?? No. DNF with extreme prejudice.

Very very spicey for Christina Lauren! Love their writing style though. I'm interested to continue this series as it's their longest running series.
This book was good no doubt about it but I wasn’t blown away. Loved the characters but the climax wasn’t crazy enough and the story was a little dull. I still really enjoyed it but I think I set my expectations up too high
