This is my first Christina Lauren book and Sigh.. I hate myself for waiting so long.
This book was funny, cute and oh so very freaking hot! Lord did I love Chloe! She was so sassy and very savage. Queen B! Can she be real so I can be her friend? I give it 3 1/2 stars, I felt things happened a little to fast for me. in the first chapter they are already getting it on. I was like really I don't even know the characters yet. I thought it was ok.
I typically love me a slow burn but this one got me good. Not even 10 pages in there's already spice happening and the tensions between the two main characters are phenomenal. Also love how it switches between their POV as well. Love that! The power dynamic is litty and I took a massive chance on it not knowing what I was gonna get into but I finished it within two days! Couldn't put it down!
DNF- this book was a repetitive mess of bad smut. I hate him but I’ll let him fuck me in a public hallway and repeatedly rip off my expensive underwear. I needed more actual plot. This was a twilight fan fiction originally and it shows. I usually love Christina Lauren books but this was not it.

2-2.5 stars — this is the first Christina Lauren book that I wasn’t in love with from the get go. The two main characters just seem to dislike each other so much at the beginning and to go from that and being at each other’s throats to ripping off each other’s clothing in the span of a chapter (...a few pages really) just doesn’t seem possible to me. Not to mention that they kind of treat each other like crap throughout the whole book. I finished it because I wanted to know what happened between the two of them and there’s some redemption at the end. But overall, just a big nope from me. Also, the plot was basically non existent. Just lots of steamy smut scenes (which I’m okay with) and some story mixed in. It just needed more of a plot. Probably won’t read on with the series, and I think I’ll just stick to their standalone books from now on.
