This was all sex and toxic masculinity. Your typical, predictable office romance with zero character development or plot. It was an entertaining read but nothing ground breaking.
My math teacher did not embarrass me with this book but I could not help but smile when I thought about his reaction to some of the parts in this book. Ohhhh, he would have had a heart attack. I, on that other hand enjoyed it, even if I felt the ending was rushed. The change in pace threw me off. But the book served its purpose and I may just buy Beautiful Stranger and any other book Christina Lauren published.

I can't believe I read this, I'm actually kind of embarrassed. I wanted to see what the hype was about, so I read a chapter a night for nearly a month. I think there were better ways to occupy my time. Seriously, there was no plot and I rolled my eyes so much I think I got a headache. I'm just not into these types of books, they make me feel uncomfortable.

This story was definitely all about the romance. I don't typically gravitate towards contemporary romance novels, but this was a quick and efficient read. There was not a lot of world or character building which I didn't mind, and it didn't affect my enjoyability of this book. I've decided that if this is the way these books are going to read, they will make great filler books when I'm waiting for my next reads to become available. :-) I was pleasantly surprised.

Chloe and Bennett were irresistable. Their love/hate chemistry was hilarious. Great start to a series. Looking forward to the next one
