Wanted to read an enimies to lovers / hook-up to lovers book. And it was exactly as I expected. The characters, plot, romance and everything wasn’t special or original. I still enjoyed reading it. It was not very long with a lot of spicy scenes from start to finish.

It was weird that we didn’t learn Chloe’s first name until Chapter 3. Also, that we had to wait so long to find out she had brown hair. I don’t think I came away with any concept of what anyone looked like other than hot. Joel, who is only seen once, got more character description than Bennett and Chloe.

Nowhere in the description of this book do we get a hint that before Chapter 1 ends, an executive will have sexually assaulted an intern. And that's as far as I read.

The book didn't really have any good plot, but it was still a fun read. :D

don’t judge me guys...

I really enjoyed this book. Honestly I couldn't put it down. I see a mix of reviews do it's really about preference! Personally there doesn't have to be totally dirty sex scenes all the time to make a book erotic! I give this book 4 stars! On book 2 now and enjoying it just as much! To each their own!

Really 3.5 stars.
I’m torn.
On the one side, I really enjoyed reading it as it was a light read that I found particularly entertaining.
On the other, it felt like a fanfic challenge where the authors were dared to put at much sex as they could into the book and then had to find plot points to piece it all together.
I never thought I’d say this, but the sex was just too much. The interactions with side characters were great and gave some great insights into the characters. I would have liked to see more of that and a taming down on the sexy times.
I really liked Chloe because she’s determined and doesn’t let people walk all over her, even when Bennett is being his Beautiful Bastard self. Bennett reads like the typical hero in this kind of story; he’s entertaining and works well with the kind of story being told, but there’s nothing much to make him stand out.
So, overall, I enjoyed reading it, but it didn’t really live up to the exorbitant amounts of hype surrounding it.

I don't understand why people like this book. It's literally just sex with nothing else substantial. I kept hoping that some type of character development would start happening but nope.

DNF on pg 10. It opens with him basically sexually assaulting her and she’s into it.
