Ich finde es interessant, wie eindrücklich die gesellschaftliche Rolle der Frau in diesem Drama deutlich wird. Um männliche Anerkennung zu erhalten, muss sie schön, still und fromm sein. Orsina ist dem egoistischen und heuchlerischen Prinzen scheinbar zu klug und eigenwillig. Schließlich stirbt Emilia Galotti sogar lieber, als "durch den Sturm entblättert zu werden". Für Belästigung und Vergewaltigung werden also, wie heute noch oftmals, die Opfer verantwortlich gemacht. Frauen allein werden nicht ernst gnommen und sind alleine nicht sicher. Natürlich ist diese Thematik bedrückend, trotzdem war es spannend für mich, sie in diesem Werk zu entdecken.
