Vicious Circle by C. J. Box
Exciting, fast-moving thriller/mystery.
Joe Pickett, Wyoming Game Warden, has loads of trouble. In addition to a poaching ring he cannot seem to find, he’s got the newly-elected governor breathing down his neck and a group of thugs who will do anything to take down Joe and his wife and three daughters.
As the book opens, Pickett is on a small plane with the help of a pilot and co-pilot, trying to find a missing hunter. As Joe watches on highly advanced radar, he believes he sees a murder happen. Could this be the murder of that hunter in question? And if so, who are the three others who appeared to have done the murder?

One of, if not the best so far! Really kept you on the edge of your seat. All the regular characters and the return of a couple of bad actors. As always, you need to read Joe Pickett in order or they don't make sense.

Next to last book coming up, and let me tell you, I’m getting nervous about not having Joe Pickett in my life.

The saga with the Cates family continues. Dallas Cates is out of jail and ready for revenge on Joe Pickett and his family. Loved being back with the Pickett family and am looking forward to the next in the series.

The less Nate included, the better the book in this series (for the most part).

Best book so far. Couldn’t put it down. Feel bad for the Pickett's for all their bad luck. I hope things get better for them.
