I didn’t finish this. First book in a long time that I haven’t.
I felt like I was reading someone else’s ADHD thought train which was annoying to follow AND the way she inserted herself into their jobs and gave her quite rude opinions (like with the executioner) in attempts to make these people feel guilty or second guess their career. Hard pass. I had high hopes but couldn’t do it.

Beautiful insight into the lives of those who deal with death as part of their job. I loved the way the author wrote about each person’s experience that carefully and accurately depicted their thoughts and intentions. It was thoroughly researched and it was interesting to be able to find the same people she was writing about on social media!
