Sweet, I really liked the feeling of this book. There is something heartwarming about the Witches being a trio again. Feels right. Agathe is a good addition, I am interested to see how she will grow into her role as witch.

I was a little bit wary of this book. Terry is a good deal older then me, so a lot of the parody Discworld books (Moving Pictures, Soul Music) miss the mark for me with their references. Fortunately, this wasn’t a big problem in this book. Terry introduces the opera in such a way that even people unfamiliar with it can understand.
Terry really understood Opera, and it shows in how he utilises it, being able to point out how ridiculous Opera can be without ridiculing the Opera itself. The parallels drawn, references made and ideas used make it feel like a labour of love, mixed with Terry’s signature satire.

Terry Pratchett is such a a great author it's hard to have a really standout book amongst his timeless novels. This one fits the bill. His Witches of Lancre are his best subset within the Discworld series.
