Method: audiobook

Rating: 3/5 stars

H rating: 4/5 - Cavanaugh. Still liked him, but his secrets had a habit of not being told by him, that needs to be worked on.

h rating: 1/5 - Greer. Not a huge fan.

Drama: 4/5 - Decent amount of drama, mixed in with those pesky secrets.

Thoughts: Greer was what brought my rating down, I want to believe that she was a lot more smarter than she was acting, but no, she reacted to things in the most childish way. Running away or posting something without thinking about the consequences. She seemed incredibly spoiled and yes she did live in her own world and I felt that made her latch onto that as her excuse when it was also the fact that she didn't seem to care for consequences when everyone always cleaned that up for her.

Now I need to see if she wrote a story about Logan and Banner!!!

LIKES:
1) Cav…

One of the hottest Meghan March books I’ve experienced in some time. Cav’s mouth! Lord.

Well....it was bound to happen. First MM books/duet I didn't like. I gave the first one 3 stars because the ending saved it. But nothing saved this one. Cavanaugh was just...meh. I didn't hate him. There just wasnt anything there for me to swoon over him. Greer was annoying. I read her BFF's books first and I'm glad I did. Up until now all the women in this world had a likeable quality. Greer was just too immature for my nerves. The sexular scenes were hot and all but I need more than that. That being said am I going to stop reading MM's books. Uh hell no. I'm old enough and I've read more than enough to know that sometimes your favorite authors don't hit the mark for you. I still love you, Meghan! LoL.

I really enjoyed this conclusion to the Dirty Girl Duet. Dirty Love picks up right where the jaw-dropping cliffhanger left off, and it gains steam from there. Speaking of steam, Dirty Love is aptly named. You need to have a fan, cold shower, change of panties, or something on hand because Cav speaks dirty talk fluently, and this little gem is one dirty, dirty, dirty, panty-melting read. I mentioned it’s dirty, right?

Anywho, I thought the plot in Dirty Girl was rather thin, but Meghan March ups her game in this book. Cav and Greer take time to get to know each other better, but it’s far from smooth sailing for the pair. They must determine whether they have a future together despite dealing with trust issues, Creighton meddling in their love life, and more secrets. There’s quite a bit of humor included that breaks up the erotic and more dramatic moments wonderfully.

Some interesting plot crumbs were dropped in the first book that I feared had been swept away and forgotten. Instead, in Ms. March’s capable hands those potentially missed opportunities are used to build one absorbing treat, complete with a fabulous plot twist. The epilogue is especially satisfying, and it left me smiling.

I’m hoping Meghan March has more Dirty books up her sleeve. Banner, Greer’s sassy best friend, certainly deserves her own story, as do a couple other characters.
