These books prove that sex sells. This USA Today best seller includes characters were very flat/shallow/cliche, and the plot was kind of dumb. But the book series is called dirty for a reason. I thought it had a 50 Shades vibe to it, but I wish it had a little more substance to it in terms of character development/realistic conflict.

I liked it - but there's one thing I just cannot wrap my head around, and unfortunately, it ruins the story for me. I REFUSE.

They are fucking related!???
Like the mob dude has two son by two different women. Greer is Creys half sister. Shouldn't be with someone that isn't his half brother???
Even though they are biologically related, they are socially related.

After the bombshell that closed out Dirty Girl, I had a hard time picking my jaw up off the floor. Definitely unexpected reveal. The surprises didn't end there. Dirty Love delivers more twists in this rocky romance of sex, lies and secrets. Enjoyed getting to see Logan again and am looking forward to him finally finding his soul mate. Dirty Love was choppy in the delivery in some areas but Greer and Cav's antics are sure to keep the heart racing and the hormones overload raging.

Definitely could have been combined with the first book instead of split up. There were still a lot of irrelevant characters and details that were introduced with no fleshing out.

Oh man oh man...I really did enjoy this duet. I like that all of these Meghan March books intertwine.

Meghan March does it again. I am always so sad when her books end because I feel like the characters become my friends and I get all wrapped up in their lives. Their friendships with their friends are always awesome and have me cracking up. The chemistry between Greer and Cav is definitely hot but there is so much more to their story.

This was better than the first one. The spice was on point and the plot got much better.

I struggled with this duet. I had started it month or so ago and got through the first book, but it was hard. I knew I needed to finish this duet though, and they’re not very long.

I usually love Meghan March, but this feels so forced. The hints at BDSM which were actually just kink and not BDSM just makes me wonder what was going on. Because this wasn’t BDSM like Greer in the story was suggesting. It’s kink, at most.

The idea of Cav being her brother’s half-brother and she’s no way related to Cav just felt like it was an attempt at edgy “he’s my sibling in some way” which I get people like, but not really for me. Plus, it feels like it was an afterthought added in. Not to mention the kidnapping that happens. Who stays with someone after they kidnap you? Apparently, Greer does. I’m sorry, but if anyone kidnapped me and I was not being told a darn thing, I don’t care who it is, they’re getting the boot. And to make it seem kinky... that’s not kink! that’s kidnapping. She wasn’t aware, didn’t consent to play-kidnapping. This is not okay at all.

Overall, though, the main storyline besides these small issues, it was decent but could’ve been better. Just felt forced and rushed. Greer isn’t main character material.
