I absolutely loved this book. It's ending was sooooo much better than the ending to the Shadow and Bone books. I will never get over the character death though

good lord.

the plot twists in this book have my head swiveling at a 360 angle around my head over and over again. the characters are the most complex profound characters. the book talks of racism and fetishization of other races and the characters scheme and plot and they’re evil they’re thieves and crooks and killers but they are also teenagers, children and they share bread and they place flowers on their corpses and they tease each other and hug after a good mission and GOD.
