The Stone Monkey

Jeffery Deaver

3.75 AVERAGE

This is the 4th book in the series, and by now the twists are predictable. The good guy is the bad guy in disguise, again. Again.

A book that was just too long. It was alright, I guess, but it mostly felt pretty mediocre. I'm not that invested in the characters and the mystery was only so-so, I figured out who the killer had to be pretty far in advance this time.

With this book I truly felt in love with Jeffery Deaver. This wasn't my first, [b:The Coffin Dancer|227729|The Coffin Dancer (Lincoln Rhyme, #2)|Jeffery Deaver|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1440619491s/227729.jpg|2495542] was, but this is the book that started my long adventure with Deaver's books. The research this author makes for every story is amazing. And I love the twist and turns.
dark fast-paced

Excellent details concerning a police investigation, as well as, a forensic investigation. An excellent endng.

The First book of Mr. Deaver that I had read( which is weird since The Bone Colector was a great movie). But I liked it alot and it actually got me to read his others that you see listed here. Some are better than others but this one was pretty damn good.

A crime story with twists and turns, parts that made me feel slightly uncomfortable (no spoilers!) twists and turns and enough plot to keep me both interested, but making sure I still knew what was going on. I’d recommend the Lincoln Rhyme series as a good read for anybody who enjoys crime fiction.

Ok, but...something was missing šŸ˜‰
