SO. GOOD. oh my god i cannot wait for the next one AND ALSO THE ENDING???? dead
Took a couple months to finish because the library automatically returned it, but after I got it back I finished in about a week?
The first 70% before it got returned was entertaining, but sometimes it felt like there was a lot of filler. The rest… I flew through that… the last 50 ish pages I was RACING towards the end. And let me tell you, the ending does not disappoint. I wasn’t sure if I’d read book two but I literally have to now—I can’t wait.
However, in the last 30% I feel like a lot of details were skipped over. I would’ve liked to see more description about the characters reactions to certain events, but instead it was kinda glossed over until it was resolved. The ending gave that description I was missing though!
So all in all, the things that brought it down to 4 stars was the missing description and the filler. It got bumped up from 3 stars because of the end, though…
