this is the perfect addition to the cruel prince series.
I love the idea of Oak and Suren having their own story!
it was at first a little slow to get into the story and I don’t like the ending but the rest of the book is sooo good that I gave it 4 stars. I hope the second book somehow saves the ending.
I became a big fan of Oak, his personality is so charming and attractive in a completely different from Cardans but I’m here for it.

4.5⭐️, bylo to skvělý!!!! the folk of the air je moje nejoblíbenější série a tohle na to vpodstatě navazuje. bylo to plný zvratů, napínavých scén a zkrátka ti bylo utvrzení toho, že holly black je nejlepší autorka!
3 stars. it was ok. plot took a while to get good but picked up around the 50% mark. the end makes me want to read the second book for sure. i really liked oak and suren individually and their relationship together.

I liked the 1st book in the series, so I though that this one was gonna be the same, but I was really wrong!!!
The MC were annoying AF, there wasn't anything that make me believed that they were really in love
and the plot? or lack of plot tbh, was a mess
