I loved this story. Was it perfectly written? No, but not bad at all for a first time author. I can overlook a few writing imperfections if the story speaks to me which this one did. I'll be looking for new material from Sandi Lynn and will definitely read any future books.

2.99 on iBooks, read it in 24 hours. Elle was a like able character and you wanted to see her find love and good health. I wasn't as big of a fan of Connor as I was other sexy males in similar books, I enjoyed the pace of the story but the end was too rushed and then jumped ahead in a matter of a page

This is my first book by Sandi Lynn. I do not know what to expect from it. Based on many good ratings in Goodreads, I took a dive.
The story is about a young woman, Ellery who, at one night, helped a drunken stranger in the bar. And that stranger is a billionaire Connor Black. They strikes up a friendship and turns into love relationship.
I did not expect that I love these 2 characters interact. Their sweet, sweet humble banter is so.... delicious sweet. Like a tiramisu cake. I smile and cheering for them when they finally get their act together and get their HEA.
I wish that Miss Lynn can hire a better editor. Some of her wording, especially the sexy steamy scene is awkward and stiff. So I can not really feel the depth of their emotional connection in bed.
Overal I like this book. I will read another book by this author.

Enjoyed
This was a new author and so happy I took the jump into the story. Connor and Ellery were a sweet couple. I call these stories a roller coaster ride of emotions. I look forward to reading more from this author.

3.5 stars. I wanted to love this book so much more than I did.I mean, I liked it, it was good...but it wasn't as great as I was hoping for, or had the potential to be. Honestly, I think that had the author stretched it out, it could have been amazing. We just never really got to know Connor. There was more there that could have been explored. Really, this story could have been a LOT more and still been great. I wanted to feel more from both of them, understand more about their lives and what was going on in their head.
Overall, I was left wanting.Even with the epilogue. I just wanted to know them better.
Having said that, it was an amazing first effort, and I think that we will see great things from this author in the future.
