Like all of Elena Armas’ books I find myself in the first few chapters struggling to know whether I would like the characters. Only for her to develop each in a way that makes you love them. This one was a different style as it doesn’t tell the story from both characters point of view until the very end. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for her next book.

This one had me giggling cause there’s nothing more I love than a fake dating trope 🤭

I was sooo close to giving this one 5 stars, but I can’t put words to what exactly was missing. The build up was amazing, Matthew is (and no surprise here cause it’s Elena armas writing) absolutely lovely. Believing in fate and soul mates and all the lovey dovey written in the stars stuff is one thing, but for the mmc to be like that is adorable.

The banterrrr omg I die for good banter and Matthew truly provided. I guess I would’ve wanted more. Once the two got together they got together, which is great. There was great chemistry, but could have been drawn out even more.

Ending was kinda unexpected but also pretty sweet, so no complaints. And ofc we love a good Adalyn and cam cameo.
