For years I have been sure I read this book, but if I did, I did not recall anything about it. An interesting world created. And interested in where the author is going to take the story. I shall eventually read the series.

I liked the epilogue, tho the ending felt very inconclusive, idk if I'm a fan of that. Also the Consul acts with PURE CHAOS, I respect that

This is probably the strangest story I've read so far, I really liked the mystique and mystery surrounding the Shrike and the Time Tombs. Each story "arc" only confused me more and piqued my interest even more.
There's a few things that feel very shoehorned in but it's not a big deal.
Solid book, really interesting cast of main characters, extremely intriguing setting/plot and now I am forced to read the next book!

Using multiple points of view, telling different stories as a method to world build was unexpected going into this blind. Our author here made it seem easy.

I was giving so much information, and yet I still have so many questions.
