This is a fun, brother's best friend hockey romance.  I was interested in Garrett and Jennie's interactions in Consider Me, and their book did not disappoint.  And even though this book is about twice as long as most romance novels and quite a bit longer than the (very long-feeling) first book in this series, I found the pacing to be much improved in Play With Me.  I'm not sure I'm invested enough in Adam's story to pick up the next book in this series, but we'll see!

I was knew that this book would be as good as Play With Me. And I was right because it was 10x better. The development of Ollie and Carter continues through this book and I love every moment of it.
Now Jennie shines so bright but at times her light burns low but Garrett is there to get her shinning all the way again. I mean honestly in the beginning never saw these two together thought it would be Jennie and Adam. But Jennie and Garrett fit so well together is had my heart melting and me crying. ALSO LISTEN TO THE PLAYLIST WHILE READING THE BOOK. because the playlist puts you deep into your feels.
Carter I’m upset at you for acting like a 2 year old for your sister being happy.

“You know, I’m not sure we ever really fell in love. I think we built it from the ground up.”<— this right here hit me hard and was the utter truth with their relationship.

Garret and Jennie, Falling Like the Stars they’re falling in love ❤️

If booktok and booktwt reccomend same book you know it's especially bad, and my God 460 pages there is literally no reason for that.
