Book 2 in this series and I spent half the book screaming at Kyler to get his stuff together. The added drama with Kyler's parents and Faye trying to move on - this book had alot to follow and keep track of! I am hoping by book 3 they figure it out! Also - again with the cliffhanger! Bring on the next book!

All the angst

Ahhh this series holds up so well on a reread. Faye and Ky’s story is heartbreaking, with devastating truths from previous generations stripping everyone bare. We learn so much in this book but there’s still so many questions to be answered, not to mention so many queries about the rest of the family. Onto the next book!

Faye is a likeable, tenacious character after overcoming so much in her life. Somehow, she slowly integrates into her newfound family but faces so much drama. So many twists and turns kept me on my toes and interested me in the storyline from beginning to end. Faye & Kyler can't deny their attraction for each other, even with many obstacles thrown at them. I can't wait for Faye & Kyler's next book in the series. Losing Kyler is easily a 4 / 5 Star read for me.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Losing Kyler by Siobhan Davis after finishing the first book in the Kennedy Boys series. These books need to be read in order as this is not a standalone and continues the story from the first book. Trust me you will want to start at the beginning, so if you haven't read Finding Kyler yet I highly recommend you go pick it up! This series is addictive and I am already anxious for the next book, Keeping Kyler.

Losing Kyler picks up where Finding Kyler left off. Faye's world has once again been ripped our from under her as she discovers that nothing was as it seemed. Her entire life has been filled with lies and her relationship with Kyler is forbidden. As both Kyler and Faye try to come to grips with the truths that have been revealed, they struggle to stay away from each other though they know they must. When Kyler's manipulative ex returns and is determined to destroy their family, Kyler will do whatever it takes to protect them. Can the Kennedy's find a way to stop her and keep her from tearing their family and Kyler and Faye apart?

I love Kyler and Faye so much. These two have such a strong connection and their chemistry is off the charts. This book definitely showed more of their struggles though and it wasn't easy for them. I felt so bad for all they were going through, and the fact that a lot of it they faced pretty much alone. I loved that Faye had a friend in Brad and that he was there for her, though I did feel bad for him as well. I love his character so much, and I really hope that he gets a book as well. I will admit that there were times that both Kyler and Faye frustrated me here, though I did understand their actions even when I didn't like them. These two just never seem to catch a break, and I really hope that things work out since it is clear just how much they care about one another.

Overall, this was another great book in this series and I can't wait for the next! These books are sexy and sweet, angsty and impossible to put down. Once I started Losing Kyler, I didn't want to do anything else but read while all the while trying to savor it as well. I was new to Siobhan Davis at the start of this series, but she is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. This series is one I definitely recommend, and I think readers are going to love this latest installment in the Kennedy Boys series just as much as I did.

What do you do when the one person helping you feel whole again can't be there for you? This is the main question of the book as Faye and Kyler navigate a minefield of revelations brought forth by Kyler's Dad. Just how related are Kyler and Faye, and what does that mean?

This book really took the time to round out the other characters in the book. We see more interactions with Kal and Faye. The triplets personalities start to come out, and we see Faye develop individual relationships with each of them. Kadan and Keven come around more, and we get to learn more about them. On top of Faye and Kyler dealing with their crazy relationship we find out that Kal has been accused of something horrendous. The family comes together to look after their own, and as the reader we get to see just how much they love each other despite just how much turmoil is at the house.

Siobhan is definitely the queen at hitting those taboo subjects, and playing them out. She is not afraid to get into the uncomfortable, but always manages to make it OK in the end. I can't wait to see what the final book in Faye and Kyler's love story has in store with the cliff hanger we were left with.

Losing Kyler is the second book in The Kennedy boys series. This book should be read after Finding Kyler as it continues on with Faye and Kyler's story. This book is told from dual points of views.

This book kept me on my toes. Secrets and lies came out and Faye doesn't know who or what to believe anymore. Her Uncle isn't who he seems and she's not sure what to think. She still has feelings for Kyler, but they are on the back burner while Kyler deals with his own things.

Kyler is going through his own battles. Even though he likes Faye, he's sworn off girls. He's done some messed up things to Faye trying to keep her away. Can she get through to him.

This book was total redemption to me for the first book. It kept me wondering what was going to happen next. It was a great development for many of the characters and really helps you understand them. I am now more than ever so excited for the third book! Wow I am just floored at how much better this book was for me. On to the third!

Initial thoughts: I can't. That ending?!!!! As always Siobhan Davis has made me so desperate for the next book. There's nothing much more to say, there was a bit of drag in the middle but hey, nothing hit the accelerator better than that final chapter!

~I received an e-ARC from the author and willingly reviewed it~

The Kennedy family is in a state of turmoil. As towers of secrets crash to the ground, everyone is affected and the place becomes an emotional wreck. Faye tries to help out but she too is getting put through a heavy spinning washing machine, a frenzy of thoughts trying to drown her. When tragedy strikes yet again, the Kennedys are left reeling in the aftermath. Will things ever be the same?

"I've never felt more alone or more jaded in my life."

Faye's character is so blunt and genuine, I have to say she's one of the best female leads I've ever met simply based on personality, and that's not something I say lightly. She makes her fair share of mistakes too, but what I say is special about her (perhaps this is easier to achieve in the contemporary genre opposed to fantasy, but still) is that she's definitely human, she's not unnaturally perfect. Reading through her perspective makes all the difference to my love of this series.

"I keep my lips sealed and hope it doesn't come back to haunt me."

Secrets, secrets galore! This is one messed up family. Perhaps a little too much so. But Siobhan Davis keeps it in perspective and has an uncanny knack for controlling the drama, making sure it hits at the perfect moments. There are just a few moments throughout the books where big bombs hit, but the impact lasts. A small patch in the middle got boring, but it receded quickly into more drama.

"It has a finality that scares me half to death."

Losing Kyler really kept me on edge as I would have sudden moments of terror that Kyler would run away, my heart beating away crazily like a butterfly trying to get out of its cage. There were links to book one that I hadn't noticed, but they created more impact in a subtler way which made all the difference in the end. All the ideas in this series are skilfully woven into a masterful tapestry of enjoyment. Losing Kyler is the best Siobhan Davis novel to date, and the pure, unadulterated emotions that flow through this book affected me so much.

review got deleted so adding it again :)

I can not get enough of the Kennedy family stories or Kyler and Faye! I love the intensity, the over the top drama, the angst, the scandal and lies, and the alpha possessive Kennedy men. I love a good taboo/forbidden relationship, and this one has just consumed me.

The end of book one had some major heartbreak in store for us- with Faye and Kyler finding out a potentially devastating piece of information that may derail their budding relationship- now that they have finally admitted their feelings- and may make their love even more forbidden than we’d assumed. HOLY MOLY.

These story is drama to the max- soap operatic and delicious. Poor Faye just gets so much thrown at her- and the revelations that force them apart just broke me (and her)- she needs Kyler, and he pushes her away. Is there ever a path to these two being together given all that is stacked against them? What other secrets and lies do they have to unpack and work through? Is their love something they are willing to accept, despite others thinking it is wrong?

Both of these characters really struggle with their complicated feelings for each other- and it is hard to watch them unravel. I wanted to punch Kyler more than once, and I wanted to hug poor Faye- I just wanted them to stop fighting against each other and their feelings and fight FOR each other- their love is just so intense, and they both clearly need it to thrive.

Of course, Siobhan leaves us with a jaw dropping conclusion that had me one-clicking the next book in seconds. This story is addictive- it consumes me completely. I’m a Kennedy boys addict, and I’m not even sorry. I MUST know what is next for Faye and Kyler!

Love these titles.... Finding Kyler... now Faye is Losing Kyler. How about those Kennedy Brothers... this is one giant soap opera! Second part of Faye and Kyler has them battling people it seems from all sides.

What did I like? The scene is set around the Kennedy boys and anyone surrounded by them has got to be able to withstand the backlash of association. Nothing is as it seems and only money can get you out of situations. Faye is a strong female character but her weakness for Kyler makes her a target.

Would I recommend or buy? Whole series is on KU so it’s a no brained if your a member. Hopefully you like weak men and strong females. Fun part two!

I reviewed from a KU read!
