The lotus is patient.

Sara and Drake can't seem to put run trouble, it's always around every turn but will they prevail against all odds?

I can already tell that this series will become one of my all time favorites. Sara has many challenges that she has to face she's still coming into her power and what that entails for her kingdom, Drake’s darkness wants to take over will his mate be able to keep the light on and drawl him out of the darkest depths?

The connection between Saraya and Drake is a lot better in this one— more shown than told. There are a lot more moments that feel real. Still could use some more tension-building, though, to really feel it. Also the dearth of foreplay for their first time together was somewhat disappointing. 

I do like that Daxian wasn’t relegated to the role of villain.

Still has some plot holes and typos.
