I enjoyed this installment of The Atlas series so much more than the first book! Not to say that the first book was necessarily bad, but I felt like I had no idea what was going on in the first book, while I had a much easier time following the plot in this one. It helped that I knew what I was getting into this time and chose to slow down and take my time with the story. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

I will need to read this again because if anything, it got even more confusing and complex - but I loved it! there were some very interesting dynamics in this book; I love blake’s imagination and writing style; but it can be a bit exhausting (worldbuilding is still quite a mystery too).

nevertheless I can’t wait for the sequel, it’s going to be very very interesting!

I adored The Atlas Six and went into this sequel with a lot of expectations. The primary source of frustration for me, and the reason that I didn't enjoy much of the book,
was that most of the characters were so unhappy and frustrated with each other that that seeped out into the story itself as a whole. Whereas the first book was all about discovery, this was anger and refusal to communicate and far too few experiments with what their magic could really do.
I will probably eventually pick up the third, but it will be a while before I'll want to.

Great writing from Olivie as always! I just feel that I had to read up to more than half of the book so that it got interesting for me😕 Can't wait for the third one, though
